I recently discovered L'Usine Bleue and love their work. I now own two jackets (Coltin and the Chore Jacket “Limited 99 Series”) as well as two pairs of Moleskine work pants and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The quality, craftsmanship, and authentic French workwear aesthetic are outstanding. These pieces have quickly become staples in my everyday wardrobe.
What really stands out is the consistency: you can feel the care and intention in every garment. It’s rare to find a brand that combines style, durability, and character in such a convincing way.

Amazing french workwear store. They carry classic French brands and their house brand, Usine Bleue, is also great quality. Great place to buy Laboureur, Saint James, navy wool sweaters, etc. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!

It is a fantastic piece, great quality and above all design. Great packaging as well. Cannot wait to weat it now exactly in the tight weather for it here in Prague with my workwear corduroy overshirts.

A Hidden Gem in Södermalm – L’Usine Bleue Made My Trip

I stumbled upon L’Usine Bleue by complete chance while exploring Södermalm, and I’m so glad I did. The shop’s display stopped me in my tracks — it has this magnetic, understated aesthetic that just pulls you in.

On my first visit, I was helped by Vincent, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient as I tried on pieces. You can immediately tell that everything in the shop is carefully curated — the craftsmanship and quality are on another level. I ended up purchasing a beautiful peacoat, scarf, and messenger bag that I know I’ll enjoy for years.

A few days later, I couldn’t resist coming back — this time I had the pleasure of meeting Anna (or Ana), who was just as wonderful. She made me feel like a returning friend rather than just a customer, which made the experience even more special.

Shopping here wasn’t just about buying clothes — it became one of my favorite memories from my time in Stockholm. If you’re in Södermalm and appreciate quality, design, and warm, thoughtful service, make sure you stop by L’Usine Bleue.

Highly recommended! I love the jacket. I love the gift bag. And Vincent was extremely service, oriented and helpful and friendly. DHL delivery was delayed, but it was worth the wait. And Vincent was very understanding. Thank you so much!

Truly the best collection of French workwear I’ve seen in the world! Orlo was kind and so ever helpful. He wanted his clients to pick something they were sure they would cherish for a long time. As should be for such lifetime pieces. If you can try their collaborations and store pieces.

Usine Bleue is simply marvellous and unique in Europe, not even in Brittany itself have I found such a good selection. I was in the Vitra showroom last week as part of the Stockholm Furniture Fair ... just 100 metres from the shop. Perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, it's now another 1,096 kilometres from here to you. When is the shop in Berlin coming? :-)

Very professional service, stunning inventory of clothes. Service was extremely helpful, they were able to easily convert EU sizing to American from memory to help with fitting. One of the highlights of my trip to Stockholm! Purchased a beautiful wool jacket.

A MUST-STOP if you visit the SOFO area of Södermalm - the most stylish workwear one can find for both men & female. An extra plus for the incredibly fun & helping staff. I have visited the store many times and they are always the best to help!
