This jacket is wool version of the classic workshirt Le Laboureur has made since the 1950s. It was originally made for the workers at a nearby metal foundry, Wool is naturally extremely hardwearing, non-flammable and with excellent insulation properties, which made it the ideal material for keeping metal workers warm, safe and also protected from the heat in the foundry. This version is made with 100% French wool, allowing a wider variety of colors than the original un-dyed brown and sand.
