Vétra is the grande dame of French workwear with continuous manufacturing in France since 1927. Their workwear represents the very finest of old school quality and attention to detail, which has made Vétra highly coveted even outside the workwear community. The name Vétra is a portmanteau for ”VÊTement TRAvail” – clothes for work.

This work jacket in organic cotton twill is an updated decendant of the original #4 that Vétra began manufacturing almost a century ago. This version is 5 cm shorter, giving it a more modern silhouette.

The organic cotton twill in this beautiful jacket is weaved with a 2-ply warp yarn, which makes the fabric very resitant to wearing and tearing. It has the traditional 4 patch pockets and 5 copper buttons.

Black and Bugatti blue were the original colors, soon complemented by hydrone blue and navy blue – and not least, the iconic light blue ”Postman”, which was used by, well…postmen. Today Vétra offers their iconic work jackets in a wide variety of vibrant colors.
