Cotton/linen craftsman summer pants – sand
These work pants are based on the traditional ”Largeot” first designed by Adolphe Lafont in 1896. While the originals were made in heavy corduroy, these are made in a cotton/linen ”metis” fabric. Metis means ”mix” in French, and this type of fabric has been used in work clothes for centuries. Like corduroy, it is extremely hard-wearing, but not quite as warm, which is why craftsmen preferred them during summer.
- Semi-high waist
- “Demi ballon” – loose in the thighs, tighter around the ankles
- 2 side pockets, one buttoned back pocket, one small waist pocket, one leg pocket
- Button-fly with metal hook
- Made in France by Le Laboureur, since 1955
