Cotton/Linen Craftsman Summer Pants – Black
These work pants are based on the traditional ”Largeot” first designed by Adolphe Lafont in 1896. While the originals were made in heavy corduroy, these are made in a cotton/linen ”metis” fabric. Metis means ”mix” in French, and this type of fabric has been used in work clothes for centuries. Like corduroy, it is extremely hard-wearing, but not quite as warm, which is why craftsmen preferred them during summer.

Love these pants. Flattering fit: Funky, yet sophisticated. Super comfy -cool in summer, warm in winter thanks to excellent wind resistance. Cut for great mobility. Astonishing durability. Bought my second pair to alternate pairs. Planning to expand my wardrobe with more colours.
