Since the 1950s, Chaussure De Gatine has been well-known and appreciated by farmers and cattle dealers for its long-lasting work shoes.

In 1982, Chaussures de Gatine had around ten models in production, mainly boots and work shoes. But they also wanted to offer a practical and durable low shoe, which could be worn everyday in both the fields and the city.
