Kiplay

Kiplay is a true legend in French workwear. The story of the family business began in 1921 with Marcel Letard who ran a galoshes factory in Saint Pierre d’Entremont and Emilie Degasne who ran a successful fabric sales company. In two shops they supplied local industry, farms and hunters with galoshes and workwear.

During the war everything Marcel and Emilie had built was destroyed and they had to start over – eventually becoming a renowned manufacturer of modern workwear.

In 2017, the Kiplay Vintage brand was created from a desire to re-create a collection of traditional, French workwear. The new collection was based on surviving workwear from 1940s and production is made in Saint Pierre d’Entremont, in Normandy, carrying the history, DNA and values of Kiplay.

Kiplay remains a family business to this day and is passionately commited to the ”Made in France” movement.
