L’Usine Bleue Mécano Jacket

Inspired by the short zip jackets worn by French mechanics, fitters and factory men in the 1950s and 60s, our Mech Jacket belongs to the same no-nonsense family as the bleu de travail. A little shorter, a little faster and maybe more likely to have oil under its fingernails.

Cut straight and waist-length to stay clear of workbenches, machines and other moving things. Equipped with a zip front, simple collar and low open pockets. Made in our tough French moleskin – spun, woven, dyed, cut and sewn in France.

The L’Usine Bleue Mécano Jacket has the look and feel of proper mid-century workwear, but is carefully updated without sanding off the grease, grit or charm.

• Micro production: 40 pieces in the first batch
